It would have been a great combination to look forward to, provided the rumour about Prabhas roped in for a cameo in Suriya’s Singam 3 aka S3 was true.
However, sources from the film’s camp have denied the news as a baseless rumour.
Producer Gnanavel Raja said that they didn’t have a role for Prabhas in the first place to approach him with an offer, or bring him on board for a cameo.
Singam 3 is nearing completion and the makers left to Malaysia last night for a 10-day schedule.
An important action sequence and a song have been planned in this schedule and Suriya will also take out time to attend the audio and trailer launch event of Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 600028 II on October 7.
With the Malaysian schedule, the talkie portion of Singam 3 will be completely wrapped up and the makers will gear up for the trailer launch this Diwali.
Directed by Hari, and co-starring Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan, S3 is the third installment in the Singam franchise.
The film introduces Thakur Anoop Singh, popular television artist, as the antagonist.
