Director AR Murugadoss has directed Mahesh Babu for the first time and the film, titled Spyder, is due to release on September 27 across the globe.

Being a bilingual – Tamil and Telugu – it was already announced that the Malayalam dubbed version will be released for Mahesh Babu’s fans in Kerala.

Now, director AR Murugadoss has come out with an announcement that the film will be dubbed in Arabic as well.

Plans are on to release Spyder in the gulf countries; therefore, the team decided to dub the film in Arabic to lure the audiences over there, he is reported to have said.

Starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, this would be his first direct Tamil movie though several of his Tamil dubbed films have been released earlier.

The film, touted to be a spy thriller, has Rakul Preet Singh pairing up with Mahesh Babu.  The star cast also has SJ Suryah and Bharath in pivotal roles along with Priyadarshi Pullikonda (Telugu) and RJ Balaji (Tamil).

AR Murugadoss has roped in a talented technical crew for this high budget movie and it includes Santosh Sivan for cinematography, Harris Jayaraj for music and A Sreekar Prasad for editing.

Produced by NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu under the banner NVR Cinema, the film has been made on a budget of Rs. 110 crore.

It will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Arabic across the globe on September 27. Being a long weekend, the filmmakers are sure to cash in on it at the box office, opine trade sources.

It may be mentioned here that Spyder was supposed to hit the marquee in June but the decision to re-shoot the climax sequence made the filmmakers to postpone the release by a couple of months.
