The ‘Prince’ of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu, has launched a single from the album of his upcoming film, Winner.
SS Thaman has composed music for the songs in this flick and a single from the album, Sitara, was launched recently.
The makers of the film requested Mahesh Babu to release the song as it would be apt because his daughter is named Sitara. The actor obliged and the song has been receiving great reviews.
Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej plays the male lead in Winner and Rakul Preet Singh plays his love interest.
According to sources, Sai Dharam Tej will be playing a fashion designer while Pooja will be seen as an athlete.
While well known TV host Anasuya Bharadwaj will be making a cameo appearance in the film, Jagapathi Babu has an important role to don too.
Gopichand Mallineni is directing the film, which is produced jointly by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu on Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions and Leo Productions respectively.
The film is touted to hit the silver screens later this month.
