For many students across Tamil  Nadu, May 21 was a big day with the announcement of the Class 10 results for the  Tamil Nadu Board of Higher Secondary Education (SSLC) .  However, for one teenage girl who scored first class in the SSLC, the news was tragic as she was one among the seven members of a Madurai family burnt to death in their village at Kumarapuram, reported Times of India. On Wednesday, P Sangeetha, aged 17, and her uncle, Kannan’s family were charred to death when his wife, Pandeeswari, poured petrol into their house when they were sleeping and set it on fire. The woman along with her brother and mother had locked the house’s door from the outside before setting it on fire, said the report.  Read Scorned Madurai woman burns husband and his family to death
