Ever since All India Bakchod (AIB) released its 'roast' with Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and film maker Karan Johar, they have managed to kick up a controversy that seems to be only growing by the day.

The videos of the Knockout released late last month garnered around 8 million views until it was taken down by the group following mounting criticism for the show from political parties and the announcement of the Maharashtra government to probe the show.

An FIR has now been registered against 14 people including All India Bakchod team, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar by the Pune police. NDTV reports that the FIR has been filed on the basis of a complaint registered by an inspector of the Pune CID.

What's surprising is that the FIR also names actor Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha who were in the audience. FIR has been filed under sections 292 (sale of obscenity) and 294 (obscene acts and songs).

At the roast, the complainant Wazir Shaikh claims "Ranveer Singh publicly kissed Deepika Padukone and she responded. Both behaved obscenely." The FIR in Pune finds fault with this for indecent behavior, NDTV reported.

In a post published on a social networking forum, the comedy group clarified that the videos had not been taken down due to outside pressure, but as a “pragmatic” decision on their part.

Many organisations and individuals have openly voiced their criticism about the 'roast' or have asked them to apologise.
