KFC opened in first outlet in mainland China in 1987. Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications company was founded the same year. Now both the firms wish to jointly celebrate their 30-year landmark by releasing a limited edition the KFC Huawei 7 Plus smartphone in the market.

First, the key specifications of the phone: It’s a 5-inch display phone with a HD screen and the processor fitted is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425. The phone has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. There is the option to add a microSD card and increase the storage to 128GB.

The battery is 3020mAh and the camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera for selfies. The OS is the Android Nougat version 7.0 with the EMUI 5.1 skin riding over it. For good measure, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel as well.

The KFC Huawei 7 Plus phone’s dimensions read 143.5mmx71mmx8.05mm and its weight is 145 grams. The phone sports the house color of KFC, Red and the price of the phone in China is expected to be CNY 1099 which roughly converts to Rs 10, 000. But only 5000 of these devices will be made and sold.

Some of the specialties of this KFC Huawei 7 Plus smartphone will be that the buyers can enjoy a virtual credit of 100, 000 “K” credits within the KFC app that will come pre-loaded on the device. In addition, K-music a dedicated KFC jukebox app will also be added.
