Along with Anadita Patel, Kerala’s Sports Minister too is getting trolled on social media. EP Jayarajan however, unlike Anadita’s mere mixing of Ali’s sport, bizarrely thought Ali was a Mallu who made Kerala proud.

On Manorama News’, an anchor asked EP Jayarajan to share his thoughts about Ali on Saturday.

Faff came the reply. “I heard that Ali has died in the US . He was an excellent sportsman from Kerala. He received gold medals in sports, which did Kerala proud in other countries. I express Kerala’s extreme grief in his death.”

Naturally, he was trolled. The video clipping began to go viral on social media, prompting hilarious comments.

Here are some of the best:

“Thank god, the news reader stopped asking him more questions. Otherwise, he would have announced that he would make all arrangements to bring Ali’s mortal remains to Kerala.”

“I have told Pinarayi Vijayan a hundred times not to make me the sports minister because until now, I haven’t participated even in a frog race.”

“He would have announced compensation and free ration for Ali’s family if that reader did not interrupt him.”

EP Jayarajan calling cricketer Sachin Tendulkar by the name of Hrithik Roshan, and claiming that Micheal Jackson's death is a huge loss to Kathakali art form of India are some of the other popular memes that are doing the rounds on social media.

In another popular meme, Nikesh Kumar is seen asking EP Jayarajan about his opinion on actor Vin Diesel, to which, the minister replies that better mileage could be achieved with the use of Vin Diesel.
