Keerthy Suresh is on a roll, bagging some of the best roles the industrry has to offer. She is one of the few actors to successfully juggle roles in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industries with ease.

Recently, it was announced that Keerthy will be making her debut in Bollywood and official confirmation is out now. Taran Adarsh, a noted trade analyst tweeted the news: “IT’S OFFICIAL… Keerthy Suresh – a leading name in South Indian films – to make her Hindi film debut opposite Ajay Devgn… #BadhaaiHo director Amit Sharma will direct… Produced by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta.”

Keerthy will be paired opposite Ajay Devgn in this film which will be directed by Amit Sharma. The film will be bankrolled jointly by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta under their respective banners. Reports are that the film will be on the life of the renowned football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who ensured the Indian team’s victory in the 1956 Melbourne Olympics

Keerthy hogged the limelight last year with her spell-binding performance as the legendary actor Savitri in her biopic Mahanati / Nadigayar Thilagam and she is currently busy with the Malayalam magnum opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Directed by the award-winning director Priyadarshan, she shares the screen space with Mohanlal, Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh, and others in this flick.

Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is based on the true life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, who is most popular of the Marakkars. The film will be produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla and CJ Roy under their respective banners in a budget costing Rs 100 crores. This film is scheduled for release next year due to the high amount of graphics involved in its making.

The actress is also said to have signed a Hindi, Tamil and Telugu multi-lingual movie, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor of Hyderabad Blues and Bombay to Bangkok fame. The multi-lingual film is said to be have a female-oriented subject.
