The News Minute | August 12, 2014 | 10.48 am ISTRailway Minister D V Sadananda Gowda’s son Karthik Gowda appeared before the Bangalore police on Friday morning for questioning.Gowda faces a case of rape and cheating, filed against him by Kannada actress Maitreya Gowda on August 30. Gowda had failed to turn up for questioning despite repeated summons, due to which the police declared him absconding and obtained a warrant for his arrest.Read: Court grants conditional anticipatory bail to Railway Minister's son Karthik GowdaGowda obtained anticipatory bail a few days ago, and has now appeared before the R T Nagar police for questioning. He turned up at the police station at around 6.15 am and senior police officials questioned him for half an hour.
