After a brief hiatus, actor-director Kamal Haasan is all set to launch his next yet-untitled tri-lingual project in the premises of Nadigar Sangam on April 29. The latest update about the film is that veteran comedian Brahmanandham has been roped in by Kamal Haasan to play a pivotal role in the film, which also co-stars Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan and national award-winning Hindi actor Saurabh Shukla, who had earlier shared screen space with Kamal in acclaimed films like 'Hey Ram' and 'Mumbai Express'.

Produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in collaboration with Lyca Productions, the film will be directed by Malayalam filmmaker Rajeev Kumar. The film is planned to be simultaneously shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Kamal Haasan is reviving one of his most loved characters on screen for this project, which will be majorly shot in the United States. The guessing game on which character it could possibly be, has already begun with hordes of Kamal Haasan fans giving their predictions on social media platforms.

The film, which is touted to be a comedy entertainer with intermittent action, also marks the comeback of Ilaiyaraja and Kamal Haasan after Mumbai Express, which was released eleven years back. In fact, the title of the film, which will be announced soon, has been chosen by Ilaiyaraja already while the Hindi title has been picked by Saurabh Shukla.
