Days after the first look of Karthi-starrer “Kaashmora” had social media abuzz, the film directed by Gokul is said to be a supernatural, based on black magic with elements of comedy, romance, adventure and action packed in. Set across different eras, the film also stars Nayanthara and Sridivya as the female leads.

The first look poster was released by the makers on Thursday and featured Karthi as a warrior sporting a bald and menacing look. The image of the actor’s dramatic makeover went viral on social media, with the film industry and fans praising the first look.

According to sources, Karthi will be playing three characters in the film – including a cruel tyrant.

For the first time in Tamil cinema, 3D face scanning technology has been used by the team for an important sequence that will last for 15 minutes in the film. The film has 90 minutes of VFX.

The teaser of the film will be released by the second week of September, while “Kaashmora” is set to hit the screens this Diwali.

Produced by SR Prabhakaran and SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures, “Kaashmora” is projected as Karthi’s biggest film in his career.
