Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is collaborating with Tamil director KS Ravikumar for his 102nd film titled Jai Simha.

The film unit has completed more than 60% of the shooting, and the final schedule of the film will start rolling from November 22 to December 1 which will be held in Hyderabad.

Reportedly, the audio launch of the film will be held on December 23rd at Vijayawada.

Bollywood music composer Chirantan Bhatt is scoring music for the film.

Tipped to a commercial entertainer, his role in this film has been kept a mystery. Jai Simha also stars Nayanthara, Hari Priya, and Natasha as female leads. It may be noted here that the last time Nayan got to share the screen space with Balayya was in Sri Rama Rajyam directed by Bapu nearly five years ago. Nayantara also starred alongside him in Simha  directed by Boyapati Srinivas.

The film which is gearing up for Sankranti, and  will probably clash with Trivikram Srinivas and Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s PSPK25 at the box office which is also arriving at the theaters on the occasion of Sankranti.

Earlier Balayya's 100th movie Gauthamiputra Satakarni, directed by Krish also released during Sankranti, and it turned to be one of biggest commercial hits for Balayya.

The other cast of the film include Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, Murali Mohan and Jayaprakash Reddy.

M Ratnam had penned the dialogues and script. The film is bankrolled by C.K. Entertainments.

Earlier this year, Balakrishna's Paisa Vasool with Puri Jagannadh was panned by critics and bombed at the box office. It was called a rehash of Pokiri which starred Mahesh Babu.

On the career front, Balakrishna has signed a biopic on his father and legendary actor NT Rama Rao, which will be directed by Teja. The yet-untitled film is being produced by Balakrishna and Sai Korrapati.
