It's for real: Chennai company declares Friday holiday for Kabali release

And the organisations did not just stop at that.

“Kabali” mania isn’t just reserved for Rajinikanth’s fan club. Some organisations in Chennai and Bengaluru have, wait for it, declared a holiday for its employees onJuly 22, the day the film releases.

In a statement to its employees, Fyndus said that July 22, the release date of superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali, will be a holiday for all its employees. 

And the organisation did not just stop at that. 

They will also be providing free “Kabali” tickets to all its 32 employees. 

Speaking to The News Minute, Rajasekaran, Business Development Executive, said, "We had received several applications for leave on 22 July. This is the first time we are doing something like this."

The company is also organising Kabali contests on social media sites and Rajasekaran said that they have a tie up with PVR Cinemas for the film's promotions. 

MSLIVE, a Chennai-based media organisation, and Bengaluru-based Opus have also declared a holiday on Friday.
