It's the week for open letters.  Two days after DMK treasurer MK Stalin's open letter lashing out at the Chief Minister O Pannerselvam over the government's alleged failures, PMK Leader Anbumani Ramadoss wrote his own open letter to Stalin.  Accusing the DMK, he said that the party had failed to prevent the massacre of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka, reported New Indian Express.  He also said that the DMK had failed on the Cauvery front by not renewing its agreement on sharing water with Karnataka. According to him, Karnataka had built three dams across the Cauvery during the DMK rule. He also alleged that the delay in the Mullaiperiyar dam issue was due to the wrong approach by the DMK government. "Don't think that 46 months of oblivion will make people forget the faults, corruption and inefficiency.Your letter to O Panneerselvam reminds us of the Tamil proverb, `Eeyathai paathu pithalai sirithathaa' (the metal lead mocks at brass)'," he wrote . He went on to allege that the party was responsible for revoking prohibiton in the state and also attributed power scarcity to the party's rule.
