The ISIS claims that taking in female members of the ethnic Kurdish minority as concubines and sex slaves is justifiable in the days leading up to the Judgement Day.
A report carried by theInternational Business Times quotes an article published in the 4th edition of the ISIS English digital magazine Dabiq, which claims that enslaving the families of infidels is allowed by the Shariah or Islamic Law.
"After capture, the Yazidi women and children were then divided according to the Sharia amongst the fighters of the Islamic State who participated," the Telegraph UK reports from the article.
In the edition, the ISIS tries to justify a lot of its actions including the killing of American journalist Stephen Sotloff.
