Boxer-turned-actress Ritika Singh, who shot into the limelight with her spell-binding performance in “Irudhi Suttru”, is reportedly in talks to feature in Suriya’s next film.
Ritika’s performance alongside Madhavan in the boxing drama had won her the special jury award given by the National Awards Committee.
Ritika has now signed on to star in “Aandavan Kattalai” with Vijay Sethupathi and “Shivalinga” with Raghava Lawrence.
Sources suggest she has also been approached for a role in Suriya's next with director Muthaiah. Tipped to be another rural drama, Ritika will apparently be playing Suriya's sister in the film, with the sibling relationsip being at the heart of the film.
This yet-to-be-titled film will feature Keerthy Suresh in the lead, music by D Imman and editing by Kabali editor Praveen KL.
Meanwhile, the “Singam” star is currently busy wrapping up shooting of the third film in the franchise, which will be wrapped up by the end of the year or early in 2017.The film is being bankrolled by Studio Green and has been co-produced by Suriya himself.
