Did Iron Man really make a surprise visit to Chennai? If you’re to believe Phoenix Market City’s Facebook post, then, “Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, the Iron Man, himself Robert Downing Jr” visited the mall on Wednesday, window-shopping at several stores. The actor even obliged a few fans, taking photographs with them.
While some fans of the Hollywood star reacted with shock and awe at his fleeting visit, others were more sceptical.

But it turns out the real Iron Man had not stepped foot into singara Chennai, and the man in question was, in fact, his doppelganger, Albert Serrato, who is also a Hollywood actor.

Serrato, who has starred in “Redemption”, “Puppy Love” and “Mood”, had attended a wedding in Chennai, checking into the Savera Hotel on December 13 and checking out a day later, reported The Hindu. Amidst the swirling rumours, Savera’s front office manager looked at his passport details after he checked out and confirmed that Albert Serrato had left the building.
Incidentally, Phoenix Market City’s boastful post has since been deleted.
