With as many as five films in her kitty, Rakul Preet Singh is easily one of the busiest actresses in tinsel town, and it includes a project each with Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan.
She was recently signed on for Vishal’s Thupparivaalan, but had to unfortunately exit the project due to a delay in the commencement of the shoot, which affected the dates of her other projects.
Even while the news of Rakul walking out of Thupparivaalan was waiting to be verified, there were reports doing the rounds that she’s been finalized for Vikram’s Saamy 2.
Talking to Times of India, she squashed the rumours about being part of the Vikram-starrer, “I don't know how this wrong news started spreading. I haven't been approached for the project,” she said.
However, she confirmed opting out of Thupparivaalan.
She said, “It is true that I'm no longer a part of the project. As per the initial plans, the film was supposed to start a little earlier, based on which I had committed to other projects. I'm currently shooting for Mahesh Babu's untitled bilingual film with AR Murugadoss at the helm and Ram Charan-starrer Dhruv, the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan."
