The upcoming romantic musical Hey Jude will mark Trisha’s debut in the Malayalam film industry.

The star, who is popular in the Tamil as well as Telugu film industries, will be seen sharing screen space with Nivin Pauly in this Shyamaprasad directorial. Trisha has ruled the roost in both the film industries simultaneously and is now all set to enthrall the Mollywood audiences.

Speaking about getting to work with Trisha in an interview to the Times of India, Nivin Pauly had said, “It's been a great experience. She's friendly, down-to-earth and comfortable to work with. In terms of acting experience, Trisha's the senior. She made her debut in 2002 and I came into films almost a decade later. I have watched a lot of her films and have been a big fan since Vinnaithaandi Varuvaya. Now, I am fortunate enough to act with her. It's destiny that I am able to share screen space with such big actors.”

Having worked with Shyamaprasad in English and Ivide, Nivin shares a good rapport with the director. With both films turning out to be hits, film buffs are waiting eagerly for their third venture together to hit the marquee soon.

Nivin, on his experience of working with Shyamaprasad had said, "He is extremely chilled out on the sets and makes the actors feel comfortable. Anyone who has worked with him would unanimously say this.”

Apart from Nivin Pauly and Trisha, the film also stars Siddique, Mukesh, Pratap K. Pothen, Urvashi, Neena Kurup and Aju Varghese. The film revolves around the lead pair Nivin and Trisha who will be essaying the characters Jude and Crystal respectively. The Hey Jude team went ahead with the shooting in Goa a few months ago and according to reports, a major portion of the film has been shot there.
