Huawei Nova 2 would be the next phone in this series after Nova and will be launched on May 26. But several of the phone’s specifications have already been leaked and are being shared here. There are also indications that there would be a Nova 2 Plus also, but the details here may only apply to Nova 2.
Display and other hardware details
The Huawei Nova 2 will come with a 5.2-inch full HD display. Some of the other leaked information are a bit unclear, but the processor used on this new phone by Huawei will be its in-house HiSilicon Kirin 658. It has also to be added here that some rumored specifications of the same phone were talked about earlier; some of them have turned out to be confirmed now and others changed.
For example, the processor indicated earlier was the Snapdragon 660. There is still the possibility that Huawei may change the processor on phones being shipped to some markets.
The camera set up is one aspect that will attract a lot of buyers to this phone. It is rumored that the Huawei Nova 2 will sport a huge 20MP sensor on the front and a dual camera 12MP + 8MP set up in the rear with the fingerprint sensor also located just below the camera on the back.
The Nova 2 is expected to be equipped with a 3000mAh battery and the RAM is likely to be 4GB. The phone is likely to be launched in three colors; pink, blue and green. The speculation on a 5.5-inch Nova 2 Plus is also strong but the leaked details do not have much information on that phone.
The price indication for the Huawei Nova 2 smartphone is CNY 2500 which translates into around $362 and Rs 23,000 approximately.
Huawei is planning to make a big splash while launching the product on May 26 with some popular celebrities being roped in for the event.
