Huawei is expected to announce two smartphones, P20 and P11 soon. Some details of these phones have been leaked now and it is seen that there are three models on the anvil. The leaked images also reveal that the phone has a 3-camera setup in the rear and there is a dual LED flash. The fingerprint sensor, however, is on the front.

Additional details on the camera specs indicate that at least one lens could be 40MP in size and it will permit 5X optical zoom. Huawei has an ongoing association with Leica and its Mate 10 smartphone sported a camera lens developed by Leica. The new P series phones will also see Leica’s imprints in the optics department.

Since only the physical features are being reported out of the leaks, the 3.5mm jack appears to be missing as well. The models being quoted are the Huawei P11/P20, P11/P20 Plus and P11/P20 Lite. In addition, a P11/P20 Pro which resembles the iPhone X is also likely to be added to the range soon.

Besides the above details, the source disclosing these leaks indicate that Huawei will be releasing the phones in different colour combinations and each model has a codename or a ‘nickname’ to it. ‘Emily’ is how the Huawei P20 is identified and will be sold in Ceramic Black and Twilight colours.

The P20 Plus model is code-named ‘Charlotte’ and the colour options for this phone will also remain the same Ceramic Black and Twilight colours.

And lastly, the P20 Lite, also called ‘Anne’ and Sakura Pink will be one of the three exclusive colour sin which this model will be sold in.

An aspect ratio of 18:9 as far as the display goes and a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC processor are the only other information available about the new series of phones to be launched by Huawei, this March.
