Cricket fans from India and Pakistan have come up with a novel way to broker peace between the two arch rivals.

Indian and Pakistani cricket fans were putting up profile pictures of their respective nations on the occasion of the WorldT20 using the profile pic frame feature of Facebook.

This phenomenon was spotted by Indian website Sportskeeda which did a story on the same on Sunday.

Even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spoke about this in his page and shared the link of the article, “When we designed the profile frames feature, we just wanted to help people show support for their favourite teams or a cause they believe in. But this story shows that the more connected we are, the more we realize that what unites us is more important than what divides us.”

Relations between the two neighbouring nations have always been frosty and have worsened following the Pathankot terror attack.

Pak cricket captain Shahid Afridi was served a legal notice on Monday after he said that the Pakistani team received more love in India than his home country.

On January 26, 22-year-old Umar Draz, self-confessed fan of Virat Kohli, was arrested for hoisting the Indian flag on the rooftop of his house.
