Arjun Sarja a popular name in the south Indian film industries, has reached his landmark 150th film. The actor, who his career in 1979 with the Kannada film Putani Agent 123, hits the landmark with the film titled Nibunan in Tamil and Vismaya in Kannada, which is set for release soon. On a roll, the Action King has also bagged the biopic of the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy.

Nibunan/Vismaya is a crime thriller that is being directed by Arun Vaidyanathan. The film, shot simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada has Prasanna, Vaibhav, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Sruthi Hariharan in the star cast. S Navin is composing music for the film, with Satish Suriya editing it and Arvind Krishna getting behind the camera. The film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner Passion Film Factory.

With the film nearing completion, Arjun is also busy with another bilingual Kontract/Iruvar Oppantham, also being made simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada. The film also stars JD Chakravarthy, Radhika Kumaraswamy and Faisal Khan. The project has been penned and is directed by SS Sameer, who is also producing it under this own banner.

With his own career on the upswing, Arjun is looking to build his daughter’s career up as well. After a failed start in Kollywood, Aishwarya Arjun will be debuting in Sandalwood with Prema Baraha which will be directed by Arjun himself. Though Arjun has a slew of films in both Sandalwood and Kollywood that require his attention, he will be taking some time off to get his daughter’s career rolling, say sources.
