We have seen him spitting at journalists, we have seen him hitting his security guard unintentionally too. But on Tuesday, in the sweltering Madurai heat, Captain Vijayakant did something new.
The DMDK president and Chief Ministerial candidate for the third front in Tamil Nadu displayed a rare act of kindness when he fanned his bodyguard with a sheaf of papers in his hand, at his Madurai rally.
According to a report by News7 Tamil, the leader’s bodyguard came and sat on the dais right next to the former’s feet, when Vijaykanth looked at his bodyguard’s perspiring state and fanned him from behind, amid loud claps and whistles.
This comes after Vijayakant accidentally hit his bodyguard in Salem last week, when a swarm of reporters descended upon him as soon as he alighted from his car.
