Baahubali: The Conclusion is due to hit the marquee on Friday, April 28, worldwide.

While the promos are full swing and the movie buffs are waiting eagerly to catch the visual splendour on the big screens, news comes in that the screen count for this flick is humongous.

The magnum opus will be released in about 9,000 screens worldwide. It will be out at 6,500 screens in India alone and 1,100 screens have been allotted for the film in the US. The film will release in 1,400 screens in other parts of the world.

Director SS Rajamouli has been working on this project for five years now. The prequel, Baahubali: The Beginning, was released in 2015 and it turned out to be a massive hit.

Its collection at the box office set a new record. Despite all this, the filmmakers say that Baahubali hasn’t earned profits yet as the money was pumped into the sequel.

The epic period flick has a bevy of stars in the cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Sathyaraj, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan and Nasser.

With loads of VFX involved, the film is expected to be a visual treat for the cine goers. In fact, several theatres have upgraded to 4K projectors as it is the first Indian film to release in the 4K format.

The film, which has been made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, will be released in Malayalam and Hindi as well.

With a massive release in place, the makers of Baahubali are sure that it will get the massive opening that the film deserves.

The film has been produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works.
