The News Minute | February 27, 2015 | 09.20 am IST What colour is that dress? Black and blue? Or white and gold? As the internet has gone berserk over deciding what colour the now infamous dress is , the story behind how the picture went viral is out. Originally worn at a wedding by the bride’s mother, the picture was posted on Tumbrl by a 21-year-old singer Caitlin McNeil. Original arguments on the colour of the dress began when the mother of the bride sent a picture of her dress to her daughter. Her daughter and her fiancee ended up disagreeing on the color of the dress, reported BusinessInsider. http://swiked.tumblr.com/post/112174461490/officialunitedstates-unclefather http://swiked.tumblr.com/post/112164479015/can-we-have-more-pictures-of-the-dress-please-we When the bride posted the pic on Facebook, the debate on what colour it represented continued. However, when McNeill posted the picture on Tumblr, it took off from there. According to McNeill, when she went to the wedding,  the dress did appear black and blue.
