Bollywood actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra has bagged her first Hollywood role and that too as a villain in the movie 'Baywatch'.
She will star opposite none other than Dwayne Johnson, better known as 'The Rock' for his stint as a professional American wrestler.
This comes after Priyanka became the first Indian to win an award at the People's Choice Awards for American television series 'Quantico' where she plays the negative role of Alex Parrish, an FBI agent who is later suspected of being part of a terror attack.
The confirmation came from the Quantico actress herself when she took to Instagram to announce the shooting of the movie.
She wrote, “And it’s time to tell u all officially!! #Baywatch it is @therock ! Being Bad is what I do best!!! U better watch out!! #PCinBaywatch”
Chopra reposted The Rock’s video where he had written, “She’s one of the biggest stars in the world. Insanely talented, relentlessly smokin’ and extremely dangerous – perfect for #BAYWATCH. Welcome @PriyankaChopra to our bad ass and incredibly dysfunctional family. Cue RATED R slo-mo running on the beach. We start shooting next week. World.. #WelcomeToBaywatch.”
