The News Minute | September 30, 2014 | 9.37 pm IST Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the state-owned telecom company and the fourth largest mobile telephone service provider in India has a website that has costed them just Rs. 1282 only. The website took one month to be developed and was done by the BSNL employees themselves, reveals an RTI application. The government agency has, perhaps, set themselves under strict fiscal standards. The website has used a popular theme from Themeforest, reports the4cast website. However, in its attempt to cut costs dramatically, the agency has made some mistakes. Images of stocks being showed for “BSNL 3G DATA” has no co-relation with 3G. Similarly, for the “Complaint Booking” section the logo used is of popular cloud storage company, Dropbox. Such use of another company’s registered logo can lead to a serious legal issue.
