The Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan is bankrolling a film under his banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The film will have Vikram playing the lead role with Kamal’s younger daughter Akshara Haasan as the heroine. To be titled yet, the film will be directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame.

And now an announcement from music director Ghibran has confirmed that he would be composing the tunes for the project. Confirming this, the talented music director had tweeted: “Started composing for @RKFI_Official & #Vikram Sir. I am on this project with my talented director who is also a great musician @RajeshMSelva ! Once again working with my favorite crew @kunal_rajan and team . Excited.”

To this, Rajesh M Selva had replied through his tweet: “Very happy to once again collaborate with my talented team of technician and Cast. @GhibranOfficial Bro, music rasika therinjale musician ah..? idhu konjam too much.@kunal_rajan @RKFI_Official #KamalHaasan #ChiyaanVikram @aksharahaasan1 Excited.”

Vikram is a versatile actor, having won several awards in his long career including the National Award for Best Actor in 2003 for Pithamagan, Tamil Nadu State Government Award for Best Actor in 1999 for Sethu and in 2003 for Pithamagan. He was honored with the Kalaimamani award by the Tamil Nadu state government in 2004.

Vikram is currently busy with the Hari directorial Saamy Square, which is the sequel to his hit film Saamy. He also has the Gautham Menon directorial Dhruva Natchathiram lined up for release this year.

Kamal, on the other hand, has Vishwaroopam II lined up for release this year and he will be completing Sabaash Naidu before going ahead with the Shankar directorial Indian 2, which is the sequel to Indian that released 22 years ago.
