The News Minute| August 16, 2014| 11.45 pm ISTA family that visited the Subway outlet in Bangalore’s Jayanagar were in for a shock as the food they got in the outlet was a far cry from Subway’s logo ‘Eat Fresh.’The bread was covered with fungus. The family told News 9 TV channel that they felt the veggies in the sandwich tasted weird. When one of them opened the wrapper covering the sandwich, it revealed the layer of fungus.Agitated, they inspected the outlet and found onions stored in trash cans, covered with a trash handpan. The freezers stored vegetarian and non-vegetarian stuff one on top of the other and freezer too was heavily rusted inside. Also read- Pune youth clicks picture of Domino's employee carrying garbage in delivery boxWatch what was found at Subway Jayanagar branch here.
