B S Yeddyurappa, former chief minister of Karnataka, has lashed out at Siddaramaiah calling him “the most arrogant Chief Minister Karnataka has ever seen”. According to a report in The New Indian Express, Yeddyurappa was speaking at a meet-the-press programme on Monday, when he warned Siddaramaiah that the people would teach him a lesson if he does not change his attitude. “He is neither listening to his party leaders nor to the opposition. He has developed a thick skin,” Yeddyurappa said.Siddaramaiah had earlier said that he will make Karnataka a BJP-free state. Responding to his criticisms on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yeddyurappa said that Modi is one of the most influential leaders in the country. “He (Siddaramaiah) had nothing to tell about his achievements. So he chose to criticise Modi and the BJP. But I dare him for a debate on the achievements of Modi and the 10-year-rule of the Congress-led UPA,” he said.
