Already being touted as India’s answer to the Chinese sensation Yao Ming, basketball player Satnam Singh Bhamara has made history by becoming the first player from India to be picked up by a team from the NBA in the US. On Friday, the athlete from the village of Ballo Ke in Punjab was chosen by the Dallas Mavericks as their 52nd pick in the NBA draft.
