M Kumar, controller of examinations in the university on Saturday filed a complaint stating that three EDP section employees have been preparing forged BE transcripts.

One of the accused, Saifulla's brother Shaik Abdullah, works in Saudi Bin Laden firm as an engineer.

It was reported that Abdullah wanted the fake certificates for his job.

"He was working in that company without any qualification. The company asked him to submit certificates. So, he told his brother Saifulla to get the certificates from OU at any cost," a police officer from OU told Deccan Chronicle.

To get his brother’s certificate, Saifulla contacted the accused, Santhosh Reddy. Santosh, who reportedly took Rs 2 lakh from Saifullah for preparing the certificates, knew the office workers of OU and asked for help.

The TOI report said that Saifullah is also an accused in two other criminal cases, which are being investigated by the Special Investigation Team and the Moghulpura police.
