The shooting for Gopichand’s forthcoming action entertainer "Oxygen", directed by AM Jyothi Krishna, son of popular producer AM Ratnam, is almost wrapped up.
Currently, a few action sequences are being filmed and only a few songs remain.
While the makers are planning to release the movie on December 9, there hasn’t been any official confirmation yet.
According to reports, Gopichand will be seen as an Army officer who fights against corruption. His characterization is said to be the major highlight of the movie.
The movie is said to have a strong social message, the makers revealed.
Actress Raashi Khanna is playing the love interest of Gopichand and Malayalam actor Anu Emmanuel is playing the second lead role.
The cast of the movie includes Jagapati Babu, Kick Shyam and others playing some focal roles in the flick.
The action thriller's music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is done by Vetri.
Bankrolled by Aishwarya, the wife of Jyothi Krishna, under the banner of Sri Sai Ram Creations, it is said to be made on a budget of Rs 30 crores.
