The 2015 Emmy Awards nominations have been announced with Game of Thrones receiving the highest number of nominations. The blockbuster TV series' host network, HBO, continues to dominate the nomination list with a whopping 126 nominations for the shows in the premium cable channel.

Game of Thrones received nominations for 'Outstanding Drama Series', 'Supporting Actor, Drama' for Peter Dinklage, two nominations for 'Supporting Actress, Drama' for Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke and 'Writing for TV Series' among others.

Here is a list of top TV shows with the highest nominations

“Olive Kitteridge”: 13
“Bessie”: 12
“House of Cards”: 11
“Mad Men”: 11
“Transparent”: 11

“Downton Abbey”: 8

Andy Samberg will host the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards on September 20. Fox will broadcast them live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. You can read the full list of nominations here.
