Dulquer Salmaan is thrilled to work with one of the most experienced actors in the film industry. Yes, he will be sharing screen space with veteran actor Shobhana in the upcoming Anoop Sathyan directorial.

“It is so heartwarming to see someone as experienced as Shobhana ma’am learn her lines so diligently. Feeling so blessed to be part of this project,” reads the caption to the picture Dulquer posted of Shobhana on a Facebook post.

In the film, Shobhana will be seen opposite Suresh Gopi, with whom she has co-starred in acted in a number of films. Incidentally, this is Shobhana’s first film in six years and is therefore known to be her comeback venture. The last time Suresh Gopi and Shobana had teamed up together was for Makalkku in 2005. The shooting of this film is currently on in Chennai.

Kalyani Priyadarshan has been signed on to play a pivotal role in the project. Anoop Sathyan will not only be wielding the megaphone for this venture but also scripting it. Plans are to release this flick in the upcoming year. The technical crew onboard for the project includes Alphonse for music and Mukesh Muraleedharan for cinematography. More details about the directorial debut of Anoop Sathyan are expected to be out soon.

In the meantime, Dulquer also has Kurup needing his attention. It has already been revealed that Dulquer plays Sukumara Kurup and that Indrajith will be seen as the cop investigating the crime. Shine Tom Chacko has been roped in to play the role Bhasi Pillai. Kurup also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, and Sunny Wayne in pivotal roles. Srinath Rajendran is wielding the megaphone for this venture which is based on the life of the most elusive accused till date, Sukumara Kurup. The film is bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan’s own production house, Wayfarer Films, and M Stars.
