Kollywood actor Jayam Ravi seems to be overwhelmed at the double happiness that has knocked on his door. His six-year-old son Aarav is set make his acting debut with Ravi’s upcoming film "Tik Tik Tik".
In director Sakthi Soundar Rajan’s next, Aarav will play the role of Ravi’s son.
Speaking to The Times of India, Ravi said that Aarav’s was an important role, quite significant vis-à-vis his own character.
“It is very exciting, both for Aarav and me. He plays an important role and it is a full-length role at that — he is acting as my son in the film. I am very happy that he is entering the industry with my film. But now, I am worried more about his scenes than mine.”
Is Ravi worried about Aarav missing school? Not quite.
“We decided to shoot with him because he is currently on vacation. And anyhow, his school ends at 1 pm. He has started learning his lines and says he wants to be prepared for the shoot. He keeps coming and asking me to rehearse with him at home. This is going to be fun. Aarav loves films, and has watched all my movies. He, in fact, knows scenes and dialogues of some of my films by heart,” Ravi was quoted as saying.
Sakthi and Ravi have teamed up for the second time after Miruthan, and Tik Tik Tik is tipped to be India’s first space film.
