With such positive reviews, there has been talk about Boyapati Srinu’s directorial capabilities which are said to have earned the film its big box office status.

Known for directing well-known stars, the director took up the project to prove that he is capable of making blockbusters even with lesser known actors.

Produced by M. Ravinder Reddy under the banner Dwaraka Creations, Jaya Janaki Nayaka had Rakul Preet Singh pairing up with Bellamkonda Srinivas and the star cast included Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu and Sarath Kumar in crucial roles.

With Jaya Janaki Nayaka turning out to be a success, there are reports about the director’s next surfacing.

Earlier, the director had said that he had three different scripts ready for Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and Mahesh Babu and is waiting for their go ahead to take off.

But now, we hear that the maverick director has impressed Ram Charan Teja with a brand new script. It is said that Ram Charan is highly impressed with it and is looking forward to work with Boyapati.

The director will tighten up the script and in the meantime, Ram Charan will be finishing off his upcoming film Rangasthalam.

There are reports that the film’s release has been postponed to summer of 2018 due to delay in the shooting, but there is no official confirmation about this.

It may be mentioned here that Ram Charan will be seen playing a village lad for the first time in his career in this Sukumar directorial.
