Malayalam actor Dileep’s last film release Ramaleela turned out to be a big hit and his fans are waiting eagerly for his next. While his upcoming film Kammara Sambhavam is progressing at a fast pace and will hit the marquee next year, there are reports surfacing about his next as well.

It was announced much earlier that Dileep’s film, after Kammara Sambhavam would be Professor Dinkan, which will be directed by ace cinematographer Ramachandran Babu and scripted by Rafi. Earlier, there were reports that Professor Dinkan would be a comedy entertainer but now we hear that the team is planning it as a family entertainer. With Dileep wanting to attract the family audiences as much as he had before the actor assault case in which he is an accused, the Professor Dinkan team is reworking on the script, say sources.

The film marks the directorial debut of veteran cinematographer Ramachandran Babu. Namitha Pramod, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Aju Varghese and Srinda are part of the movie. Earlier, the makers of Professor Dinkan had planned to release the big movie during the Vishu season of 2018. Now, according to reports, the film has been pushed further.

While the rework on the script is currently on, Dileep is busy with Kammara Sambhavam, being directed by Rathish Ambat. The film is bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan under his banner Sree Gokulam Movies.

Interestingly, this film will feature Siddharth in a pivotal role and this will mark his debut in the Malayalam film industry. With Dileep and Siddharth playing the main leads in the film, the star cast also includes Shraddha Srinath, Bobby Simha, Murali Gopy, Andy von Eich, Swetha Menon, Kenny Basumatary, Manikkuttan, Vijayaraghavan, Indrans, Siddique, and Vinay Forrt. This film is slated to hit the silver screens next year.

The shooting of Kammara Sambhavam began in August last year but was stalled after its lead star Dileep was arrested in the actor abduction and assault case. He is currently out on bail and the team is raring to finish the shooting as soon as possible.
