Young bankable versatile hero Sharwanand was initially in talks to play the male lead in the award-winning director Prakash Kovelamudi's upcoming film but he is now said to have opted out.

Reports suggest that the actor was impressed with the director’s one-liner that he gave him the go ahead but it has now turned out that on hearing the final script Sharwanand had changed his mind.

Sources say that the star is sceptical on starring in this film and had wanted Prakash Kovelamudi to make some changes. But the director is extremely confident about his script that he has refused to budge. It looks like he may go on to rope in another hero and the search is on.

The makers of the mega-hit movie, Baahubali: the Beginning and Baahubali: the Conclusion, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, agreed to produce the Prakash Kovelamudi – Sharwananad film following the astounding success of Baahubali.

But with Sharwanand not very keen, one wonders what would happen to this project.

Prakash Kovelamudi began his career with Bommalata which went on to win the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu in 2006. He then directed Anaganaga O Dheerudu and Size Zero / Inji Iduppazhagi, a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil.

According to sources, the director’s Anaganaga O Dheerudu and Size Zero turned out to be duds at the box office following which Sharwanand wanted the changes in the script to be incorporated according to his instructions for which the director did not agree.

This fall out with the director has prompted Sharwanand to join hands with director Sudheer Varma who bounced back with Keshava’s success after the debacle of Dochey. Yes, he is said to have allotted the dates to Sudheer Varma's film touted to be a mafia thriller which will go on to the floors soon.
