Did a crow force Siddaramaiah to become superstitious?

A new car has been bought for Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and it appears that this is merely the latest nail in the coffin of anti-superstitious beliefs.

On June 2, the media reported that a crow sat on the CM’s car for a good 10 minutes and that it had to be physically removed from the bonnet of the vehicle. Now, sources say that the new Toyota Fortuner is the same model and colour as the car from which the crow refused to budge.

The CM’s car reportedly developed some snags because of which it had to be sent for repairs. Hence, a new car had to be bought for the CM, with of course the tax-payer’s money!

The car has been registered at Koramangala regional transport office, sources said.

The news about the crow that landed on CM’s car, however funny, invoked astrological discussions in some of the media about how the incident might affect the CM’s future.

However, not many would have expected self-proclaimed atheist Siddaramaiah to go back on his anti-superstitious stance.
