Among the much anticipated Tamil films of this year, one project to look forward will be Karthik Subbaraj’s yet-untitled flick with Dhanush.
When the project was announced a few weeks ago, it made a lot of heads turn including several filmmakers who have been waiting to work with Dhanush. The Ranjhanaa star, however, chose to work with the three-film old Karthik, best known for path-breaking films such as Pizza and Jigarthanda.
While details of the project are closely guarded, it is learnt from our trusted sources that regular shooting will start from August. The film’s story will be set against the backdrop of the US where it will be shot for nearly a month.
The pre-production work is already underway and as soon as Dhanush wraps up his portion in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thota, the makers will start finalizing the rest of the cast and crew.
Before he starts working on Karthik’s project, Dhanush will also complete work on his maiden Hollywood project, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir Who Got Trapped in an Ikea Wardrobe.
