With meticulous planning and execution, Dhanush is setting a fine example as he has donned the director’s hat.
It wasn’t long ago he announced that his directorial debut, Power Paandi, will feature veteran actor Raj Kiran in the title role. On Sunday, announcing on his Twitter page, the Maari actor confirmed that the film will release worldwide on April 14, 2017, on the occasion of his mother’s birthday.
Tipped to be a story about the life of a few stuntmen, the film also stars Prasanna and Chaya Singh in supporting roles. Filmmaker Selvaraghavan, who had already seen most of the film, has guaranteed that the audience will fall in love with the film.
Interestingly, Dhanush and his Enai Nokki Paayum Thota director Gautham Vasudev Menon have played cameos in the film. While Dhanush will be seen as the younger version of Raj Kiran, Gautham’s role has been kept a secret.
Having taken a break from acting commitments, Dhanush’s full focus is currently on wrapping up Power Paandi by mid-January next year. On the acting front, Dhanush has Vada Chennai and VIP 2 in his kitty.
