It wasn’t long ago that Dhanush floored everybody with the announcement of collaborating with his father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth in a project with the Kabali director Pa Ranjith. Less than a week since it made headlines, the actor has announced that he’s all set to don the director’s hat, in a project which will see veteran actor Rajkiran in the lead.
Interestingly, the film has been titled Power Pandi, and it’s slated to go on the floors on Wednesday. The makers are also planning to release the first look later today to give the audience a glimpse of what can be expected from the project. Also starring Prasanna and Chaya Singh in important roles, the film will feature music by Sean Roldan and cinematography by Velraj.
On the acting front, Dhanush is busy with Vada Chennai, a trilogy about 40 years in the life of a gangster. He also awaits the release of Thodari and Kodi.
