Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, one of Bollywood’s most loved and popular couples, got married on Wednesday in a Konkani ceremony at Lake Como, Italy. The second wedding ceremony per Sindhi rituals is set to take place on Thursday. While Their two-day wedding affair has had fans very excited, the couple has done a good job of keeping the festivities extremely private.

According to reports, DeepVeer, as their fans are calling them, will release their first photos as a married couple at 6pm IST on Thursday, after their Sindhi wedding has been wrapped up.

In the meantime, there are a few photos that have found their way on social media. Most of them are taken from afar and capture wedding guests. The venue itself, Villa Balbianello, has been decorated beautifully and lavishly. Bunches of delicate flowers in various formations can be seen adorning the venue. Rows of tables were laid out with beautiful cutlery and more decorations for what was surely a magnificent feast.

The couple has also deployed three-layer security at the wedding to ensure that their privacy is maintained. Apart from phones, the couple has also asked guests to refrain from bringing wedding presents, and instead donate to Deepika’s Live Laugh Love Foundation which works on awareness about depression and mental health.

After the wedding is wrapped up, the newlyweds will reportedly enjoy a brief honeymoon before returning to India and holding a grand reception for their friends in the film fraternity and family in the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on November 28.
