The News Minute|November 10, 2014| 11.15 am IST Two social activists have lodged a complaint against BJP leader KS Eshwarappa and Congress Vidhana Parishad member Ivan D’Souza for their recent remarks on rapes against wives and daughters. Narasimha Murthy and Hanumegowda at the Vidhana Soudha police station. In the wake of the increasing rape incidents of school children, the two leaders had made controversial statements which were found to be encouraging rapists. “Ivan D’Souza and Eshwarappa have brought shame to women. They are encouraging crime against women and must face legal action,” they said in their complaint.
