In the wake of China's opposition to India's entry into the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), RSS-affiliate Swadeshi Jagran Manch on Monday took out a protest march in Vijayawada seeking a ban on Chinese products in the country.

It also made an appeal to people not to buy any Chinese products.

A number of members from RSS, BJP, including its Vijayawada unit president Dr Umamaheswara Raju, BMS, ABVP activists participated in the protest march from local RSS office to Sub Collector's office.

A memorandum of demands was submitted to the Sub Collector.

Talking to reporters at the Sub Collector's office, an RSS leader said, "We will intensify our protest to create awareness among people against the use of Chinese products."
