The News Minute | February 27, 2015 | 11.20 am ISTFeminists, get ready to roll up your sleeves and prepare a fitting response to this comeback video. When comedian Vasundhara Kaul declared Delhi the rape capital of India and lashed out at men in general for their behaviour against women, her thoughts resounded discussions on objectification of women and the rape culture inherent in society. However, her broad generalisation of the crime has earned what one may call, the wrath of the opposite gender, who has in turn come out with a response to the comedian. When Kaul pointed out how the entire country took up ‘Gandi baat’ as its party anthem, a video titled the ‘Aam Aadmi Reply to RapePublic Day Video’ pointed out it wasn't just men objectifying women in songs, even women sing such songs as per the script's demand. Case in point? ‘Choli ke peeche kya hai’.His most resounding point : "We check out girls. Girls check out boys too. We even go up to some of them and talk. That doesn't mean that our intention is to go rape them".  TweetFollow @thenewsminute
