The News Minute | June 3, 2014 | 5:12 PM IST The Excise department has decided to set up border check posts between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to control illegal transport of liquor. A senior excise officer notes that in coming days there will be a large scale movement of liquor between two states and also the likelihood of smuggling of IMFL, ID liquor. There is every need for creation of border check posts and border mobile patrolling parties to prevent smuggling of liquor between the two states. Orders were issued to this effect on Monday to principal secretary of Andhra.
