Chief Minister Siddharamiah on Tuesday has said that there would soon be a Cabinet reshuffle soon, however, no date has been decided as yet, reported Deccan Herald. KPCC President G Parameshwara was quoted by the paper as, “Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already stated that the reshuffle will be done after the elections. Appropriate steps will be taken after consulting the party high command. Besides, a list of party leaders has been prepared for appointing them as directors to boards and corporations." He also indicated that the reshuffle most likely to occur after the gram panchyat elections which may be held either in the last week of May or first week of June. The Chief Minister at the press meet also said, "The government has not ignored the districts which do not have representation in the Cabinet. The government programmes are being implemented in all the districts. The government has released equal grants to all districts.”
